Tom Kitchin is a chef who I truly admire and a trip to his Edinburgh restaurant, The Kitchin, is something that I always look forward to.

The youngest Scottish chef to ever win a Michelin star, Tom’s cooking brings together everything that I love about food: quality seasonal produce, sourced from local suppliers and served simply, in a beautiful and relaxed environment.

Tom’s passion for seasonal British produce is also the subject of his latest book, Tom Kitchin’s Meat and Game.

From venison to partridge, game is an increasingly popular subject and something that my family and I always enjoy at this time of year. This brilliant new book shows readers how to get the very best out of all types of meat and game, pairing the beautiful flavours with seasonal vegetables to create simple, fulfilling dishes.

Daylesford supper with Tom Kitchin

To celebrate the launch of Tom Kitchin’s Meat and Game we are holding a very special supper club at the farm on Sunday 3rd December.

The three course dinner will be cooked by Tom and with celebrate seasonal ingredients sourced from our market garden and reared on our farm. Dishes on the menu include a Terrine of game, served with celeriac and orange; Peppered loin of roe deer served with winter fruits and root vegetables and for pudding a Yoghurt panna cotta with Granny Smith apple sorbet and sea buckthorn consommé, all paired with Chateau Leoube wines and Daylesford Frizzante.

It should be a wonderful evening and I am really looking forward to welcoming Tom and his family to the farm.
