Tim Allen smiling.

I am so happy to share with you the news that Tim Allen will be joining The Wild Rabbit as Executive Chef from the beginning of October 2015.

Previously Tim was Chef Patron at Launceston Place in Kensington, which was awarded a Michelin star and 4 AA rosettes during his tenure. Prior to that he was senior sous chef at the two-Michelin-starred Whatley Manor in the Cotswolds, where he spent seven years under head chef Martin Burge. He previously spent four years with John Burton-Race, first at L’Ortolan and then at The Landmark.

Most recently, Tim has been on our television screens, competing in BBC2’s Great British Menu, in which Britain’s top chefs compete for the chance to cook at a high profile banquet.

Growing up in Yorkshire, Tim was a keen gardener from a young age and we share a mutual love of seasonal, home grown produce.

Tim’s passion for sourcing wild and foraged seasonal produce from quality artisan producers is very much in line with The Wild Rabbit’s ethos, as is his belief in clean, honest ingredients, handled with great respect and care.

We are all looking forward to welcoming Tim and his family to Oxfordshire and I am very excited about this next chapter for The Wild Rabbit.
